We all know Barre is uber trendy right now…but have you tried FlyBarre?
Located in the Flywheel Sports studio, FlyBarre is exactly what you need for that post-Summer slim down.
Hop off the bike and onto the mat with FlyBarre, our total-body sculpting class that blends light weight training with core strengthening exercises to create the ultimate toning experience.
Led by a motivating instructor, FlyBarre is a fun, high-energy workout that quickly tones and strengthens muscles. We switch up our routines frequently, so even though we always concentrate on arms, core, thighs, and glutes, we guarantee you won’t get bored.
As the perfect complement to Flywheel, FlyBarre completes your full body workout. Look no further for a cardio and strength training dream team. Hit the stadium and the barre room and be prepared to meet all of your fitness goals. – FlywheelSports.com
Since most people affiliate the Flywheel Sports brand with indoor cycling only, I thought it would be fun to host a FlyBarre event for local Seattle bloggers. So #HitTheBarreWithZICO was created, thanks to the very gracious ZICO Coconut Water & Flywheel Sports!
So this past Sunday, 40 Seattle influencers arrived to Flywheel in South Lake Union for the ultimate Barre + Brunch + Beauty event. It was the perfect opportunity to introduce our local fit chicks to the unique workout that is FlyBarre.
Since there are 18 mats available in the studio, we split the group in half and created two separate classes.
FlyBarre is characterized by small isolated movements we call “pulses.” – FlywheelSports.com
We’re designed for life—real life, no matter your starting point. And hey, we all sweat the same way. –FlywheelSports.com
I’m going to be honest, it will challenge you, your abs will shake, and your booty will burn – but I guarantee you’ll see results.
I’d also like to add – the FlyBarre instructors are fantastic at modifying moves if you are pregnant or have existing injuries. This little momma is 6 months along…
Curious what to wear to FlyBarre? First and foremost, be comfortable. Leggings/tank top/tee/sports bra, etc. are perfect. Need some inspo? Check out THIS post! And for your feet, you can either go barefoot (my preference) or wear socks.
Okay, so now that you really know what a FlyBarre class entails, I want to share our post-sweat party with you!
Thanks to ZICO we were able to try their new Chilled Juice Blend…so good.
In addition to a little caffeine boost courtesy of High Brew Coffee.
In between great convo, brunch bites & photo ops, the guests were able to visit the dry shampoo & braid bar provided by Seven Salon.
And get a touch up by Clinique.
Since it was Seahawks Sunday, #BlueAndGreen was a common theme…
Here’s a peak at a few our guests. They are some of Seattle’s finest Lifestyle, Fitness, Beauty & Fashion Bloggers!
I’m thinking every Sunday should start with a FlyBarre class and end with a party, right?! I encourage you to gather your squad and #HitTheBarreWithZICO! Flywheel Sports has 38 studio locations in 12 markets across the US with plans to continue vast growth. All studios offer stadium indoor cycling, however, check HERE to see if a studio near you offers FlyBarre.
ZICO Coconut Water is available at most grocery stores including Safeway, Walmart, Fred Meyer, Whole Foods and of course on Amazon!
And since it was a party, we couldn’t let our guests leave without a few gifts!
And additional sponsors stuffed bags full of goodies!
FlyBarre is much more than just a workout, it is an experience – one that is immersive, inclusive and comfortable from the moment customers walk through the door. –FlywheelSports.com
I hope you’re inspired to try FlyBarre today, tomorrow or this weekend and don’t forget to grab a ZICO for class! Make sure to tag #HitTheBarreWithZICO for chance to be featured on one of our Instagram or Facebook accounts!
