You might have heard the quote, ‘No matter where I travel, my favorite destination is home at the end of every trip.’ And while I LOVE a good adventure, I find this to be incredibly true, especially being from the Pacific Northwest. My home is surrounded by lush evergreens, majestic mountains and a myriad of fresh and salty water. I live in a destination that I really love. How amazing is that?
Bartell Drugs noticed that I often showcase local favorites and reached out to see if I’d be interested in sharing a few Northwest-made products that they carry in store. So, of course I was eager to partner and join their #LovingLocal campaign, just in time for Valentine’s Day.
First, I’ll share my MAJOR faves…MarketSpice (which is in my ‘Love You A Latte’ mug).
Growing up I can remember my mom drinking the Cinnamon-Orange tea every night before bed. The spicy sweet aroma reminds me of home, my mama and especially the Northwest. It’s definitely a local love made in Seattle!
I was also surprised to learn Brew Dr. Kombucha was made in Portland! I am obsessed with kombucha and even better when it’s local! Before I wrote this post I already had a shelf full in my fridge, so that was an obvious share.
A few other products that I found at Bartell Drugs that are also Northwest-made:
- Tim’s Chips
- Erin’s Popcorn
- Dilettante Chocolates
- Skinny Dipped Chocolates
- Moon Valley Organics
- Himalayan Dog Chews
- Seattle Chocolates
- Sparkling ICE
- Earth Mama
If you’re still scrambling for a Valentine’s gift, consider creating a #LovingLocal gift basket for your favorite foodie, organic maven or chocolate lover. Even better…treat yourself to some love and grab your favorites next time you’re at Bartell Drugs (store locater).
