Amen. As a Seattle native, coffee is our culture. Starbucks and Coffee Stands are everywhere…I mean everywhere. It’s amazing the level of excitement one gets from getting that perfectly steamed Latte or exquisitely styled Frappuccino. I admit, coffee just makes me happy. Plain and simple. What I struggle with, however, is the price tag. Of course it’s more of the experience you are paying for, but sometimes we need to be realistic and just cut back a bit.
To save a few dollars every day, I have opted to brew my own coffee. I still want some experience, however, so I have been playing around with different ways to make it fun (or pretty!). I have an obsession with froth…I LOVE that thick, foamy goodness. My go-to ‘creamer’ is almond milk which can be tricky. I have been researching various methods to ‘froth’ and came upon My Coffee Mood (it’s like the name read my mind). One of their articles from December 2014 listed the ‘Best Milk Frothers.’ My fave was the Bodum Latte Milk Frother – it’s battery operated and only 6oz which is a PERFECT size for my morning routine, plus it’s easily portable so I can take along camping – convenience is key!

Ohhh I love the idea of just getting the frother instead of the entire espresso machine!
Yes! Seems more affordable!!
You have me dreaming of coffee creations! I love it in al forms but a regular hot latte always hits the spot :)
Nothing like a warm cup of coffee, especially when Fall hits!
Wait, what? I can froth my own milk? And get foamy goodness instead of just microwave-heated warmth?? Must go buy one of these.
Yep! Kinda amazing, right?! Love that it’s portable!
An expresso machine is intimidating to me but I think I could master the frother! I drink coffee at home six days a week and on the 7th go to Starbucks!
I agree – it’s nice that it’s small and seems easily manageable! Thanks for stopping by! xoxo
Love a good froth :)
I do love coffee shop coffee, but I prefer my coffee at home! I “treat” myself to coffee more than occasionally. There is just something about the feel of that cup in my hand that makes me SO happy! P.S. LOVE the look of your blog!
I agree – coffee is totally about the experience :) And thank you! xoxo
Sounds like a must have froth maker in the house. Ever since I started making my own coffee I have had the freedom to try out different things, twists which I am loving so far. Thanks a lot for sharing this one. I must go get one of this.

I love having one! It makes my morning routine a little more exciting :)
