Onto my next OBSESSION…Barre3.
First of all, I have to say THANK YOU to ClassPass for introducing me to this beautifully intense workout. I have taken a modified Barre class previously and LOVED it so I knew Barre3 was going to take my addiction to the next level. Last week during ClassPass Fitness Night Out at Barre3 Capitol Hill it knocked it out of the park.
The studio is just magnificent. Complete urban charm, bright, fresh and absolutely inviting. The gorgeous space with high ceilings, white & gray splashed walls, accented with the signature Barre3 orange = pure fitness perfection.
Aside from the beauty, Barre3 Capitol Hill ranks high on my OBSESSED list for their extensive class schedule (ranging from several times, morning, mid-day, and evening). Another one of my faves – they have childcare! *So no excuses mommas!
Let’s get to the actual workout…Barre3:
“As dancers know, the ballet barre is a wonderful prop designed to support the body in both static and dynamic movement leading to long, lean muscles. Oh My CORE! My abs were screaming during class right alongside my glutes and shoulders. Barre3 worked.me.out! Of course it gave me that massive desire to come back asap…I NEED more of this in my life. I totally dig the theme of ‘long & lean’…I mean who doesn’t?! ♥
The most important lesson I learned during my workout at Barre3: I absolutely need to increase my core training. I could tell I was definitely lacking! THIS is exactly why I started my Fitness Challenge – to shake things up, break out of my ‘comfort’ zone and face new challenges. ♥
