I love working out…until I hate it. By this I mean I become OBSESSED with a new fitness routine, craving that intense sweat, electric energy, and pure accomplished feeling (If only I could bottle that stuff). Then after a while it’s always inevitable…I…get…bored. Boredom can make or break your fitness future. It can be such a dream killer. And that is why I choose for it to MAKE my fitness future…creating a new exciting journey instead of losing all hope of staying fit. No dimming my sparkle here…
I’m a firm believer in routine…BUT sometimes in order to stay motivated you need to mix things up a bit. I lift weights, I run, I do yoga, I even shake my tail feather in Zumba but there’s always more out there to explore…so let’s do it!
Enter my 6 week “challenge”…
Over the course of the next 6 weeks I am stepping out of my comfort zone and trying something new! I vow to try a new gym, studio, class, or method once a week (Today I’m trying Mixxed Fit…stay tuned for this review!). I will report back to you each week reviewing the ins and outs of the workout I tried and providing you with the resources and tools for you to explore new fitness horizons too!
Of course I would absolutely love for you to join me on this adventure! You have nothing to lose except calories! Most gyms and studios offer first class free or a newbie special, so totally worth a try! Let me know what you have been wanting to try ~ barre, hot yoga, trx? Or maybe aerial yoga…say what?!
